Choosing Effective Adsense Keyword For The Best Income Opportunities In Six Simple Steps

One of the top income opportunities on the internet is Google Adsense and picking the right Adsense keywords is not that smooth, because the secret to success is finding keywords with little competition and high returns.

The following process should yield returnable, low competition keywords for your Adsense advertisements. This process makes sense once you analyze and try it for yourself even though it may appear to be lacking on the surface. We are talking about Adsense.

Step 1 To begin with, use the Google Adwords keyword utility to identify words for your niche with a high CPC rating. Create a csv file with these words in a spreadsheet and then paste into the Traffic Estimator Google provides. First you need an Adwords account, but once set up you can see the estimates for the numbers of clicks each day and how much each click costs so that you can determine the top income opportunities. (CPC means cost per click.)

Step 2 Multiply the regular CPC by 30% to get an estimate of your maximum earnings per click so that you can determine the top income opportunities. The higher the regular CPC, the more likely the CPC for the 2nd – 8th positions is high as well. You want this higher regular CPC to start because if the CPC starts to drop off significantly after the 3rd position, your chance of getting high click earnings as an Adsense publisher will be diminished.

Step 3 Online tools will help you to estimate CPC values for your first eight keyword positions. An analysis of these values will show the most returnable keywords and, thus, the top income opportunities. Those are the ones whose CPC value remains fairly constant going down the list and avoid the ones with a significant plunge in value.

Step 4 Now determine which Adsense advertisements occupy which positions. You can do this by searching on Google for your keyword and looking to see which Adsense advertisements are generated in the search results and in which order they are. Another way to estimate this is to use the Adwords Accelerator tool. Once of the impressive feature is that the tool will display Adwords advertisements dynamically for the given keyword. Sometimes when the Adwords advertiser elects to use ‘Adwords for Content’ in his advertising, these advertisements will end up to be displayed on someone else’s website as Adsense advertisements.

Step 5 You should be able to compare the advertisements that you had found in step 4 to advertisements produced by using a keyword check function too that can be easily found on the internet. If the advertisers you find by doing this closely match those you found in step 4, you will more than likely have a returnable keyword and better income opportunities.

When advertisers vary, the advertiser may not have chosen the ‘Adwords for Content’ mode and the keyword will not generate Adsense advertisements. This spells poor returns (and bad income opportunities) from that keyword.

Step 6 Following that, you need to increase the viewings. Use the keywords in your Adsense advertisements that scored well from all the above evaluation if you have decided to get increased viewings using the Adwords approach. Then, in your Adword advertisements, include those keywords with lower cost per click. The difference between the earnings from the click you get on your Adsense word from the cost of the click you pay on your Adwords word will be your return (and reveal your income opportunities).

Pick keywords that have the highest KEI if you are planning to use search engine optimization techniques to generate traffic to the website where your advertisements are as these are the top income opportunities. The ratio of the number of searches for a keyword to the number of competing sites having the keyword is the KEI. The combination of a high KEI and a high score from the above evaluation will yield the top return results.
