I use Pstart as my launcher and anything else that interests me.
Portable Firefox is a favorite, but I recently bought Luxor 2 and it runs great from my drive!
miza_b has another unique business use for her thumb drive.
I buy the cheap 512MB flash drives and store my income tax files from Turbo Tax on them. Then, I label each drive with the year and store them in a fireproof safe. It saves space in my filing cabinet and I always know where they are in case the IRS comes knocking.
